Getting help

If you are experiencing homelessness or know someone who is, please call the Homelessness Gateways below.

The Homelessness Gateways provide information, assessment and referrals to a range of specialist homelessness services, including emergency accommodation.

The Homelessness Gateway Service (serviced by Uniting Communities) is available 24/7 on 1800 003 308 (free call from any phone).

For young people aged 15-25, the Youth Gateway (serviced by SYC Inc) is available on 1800 807 364 (free call).

If you see someone sleeping rough in the city, you can provide some helpful information that will enable Street To Home to visit that person and offer appropriate assistance.

Street Connect refers someone you think may be sleeping rough in the Adelaide CBD, North Adelaide and surrounding parklands to trained and experienced outreach workers from Street to Home, a Specialist Homelessness Service.

Only use Street Connect to refer someone you’ve seen in the last 24 hours.

Street to Home use the information you provide to visit people within 24 hours and help them access services.

Referrals through Street Connect will also help services to maintain Adelaide Zero Project’s By-Name List and coordinate support as quickly as possible.
